Well it was slim pickins on choices of deer to shoot this year, and with only 1 day left in the season I decided to take this one. But hey its meat in the freeze so I feel blessed to receive it.
NICE ! Now where’s mine? 🤣. Never mind , my freezers half full of venison already ... I cooked some venison steaks Friday night that were so delish my hubby and sister raved about them ❤️❤️❤️❤️YUM YUM !!

Dalana , most likely they are fine. In nature they make it through winter. It's just a little better method to keep in the fridge.

Look into Pekin ducks. They lay a good amount of eggs and are ready to butcher in 8 weeks or so. They dont usually like to lay on eggs so you may want to get an incubator or a couple of ducks that are broody (likes to lay on eggs). Muscovy are a broody breed.
