Very interesting. I live in the country now....The other night, late, around 12:45 am. I heard what it sounded like little kids making quick little noises......My dogs started barking. I wonder if coyotes were or Was passing by. ?

I don't know! Maybe you could record it next time. I'm guessing it probably was coyotes.

Oh look! After a year of covid restrictions, they changed the guidelines for Master Naturalists. The day after Biden took office. How unsurprising. I'm not going to pay my membership dues this year.... View More

Ok, I'm not really sure how the photo albums in the group work. , can you add also? And is this comment on the one photo i am posting it the whole album? So this first pic is of me doing a health check on a non-venomous king snake.

Hmmm... And is the album actually within the master Naturalist page? It looks like it's everywhere. I may not like this feature as much as i thought i would.

Oh I love snakes. I love to play with them and let them slither up my arms and across my shoulders. As long as they are relatively small and cannot poison me or crush my windpipe.

It's eyes are elliptical, like a cat's eyes...the head is triangular and broad in shape, with a skinny neck...which is where the venom glands are situated...non venomous snakes have rounded eyes and a more ovoid form of head..but can flatten out it's head to mimic a poisonous snake but do this under ... View More
